Azizi Homestay





A house is never meant to be empty


Azizi Homestay is located in Kampung Padang Tenggala, Bota Kanan, Perak. A house built by the late Haji Yeop Abdul Aziz for his family in the 1950's, it has serve it's purpose as a family home. After the passing of both Haji Yeop and his wife, "Rumah Kampung" as it's known to the family, is now the gathering place for the late Haji Yeop's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren for weddings and family reunion.

In the spirit of sharing the homely feel and not wanting Rumah Kampung to be empty, the family is extending their hands to visitors to stay there. Manage by his second son Shamsul Harumain who is base in Taiping, visitors can enjoy the house to themselves, relaxing at the back veranda to the view of the Perak river, or having a dip in the small pool filled with natural ground source water. Visitors can also explore the kampung trails to see the hidden gems in the area. At Bota Kanan town, visitors can also visit the Bota Kanan Tuntung River Terrapin Centre. In the fruit season, visitors can go fruit picking from the Rambutan tree, Mangosteen tree, Coconut and sometimes even Durian tree in the compound of Rumah Kampung.

Rumah kampung offers the whole 1st floor for renting and the ground floor can be rented upon request. There are 2 available Rooms with queen size beds on the 1st floor and 1 bathroom. Visitors can use the whole space if they want to rent the entire 1st floor. As it is not a hotel or a resthouse, we only supply limited number of towels and pillows but can be arrange if requested earlier.
